Sassy's Story...
Hi, my name is Sassy. I am a elegant, himalayan siamese, spayed female (born December, 2007). I was left behind when my family moved away. A neighbor noticed and called CAPS for help. I had an ear infection and had scratched my ear so much, I caused my ear to crumple. I need someone to understand that my ear will need to be cleaned by a human from now on (I can't clean it because of the way it is tipped). I don't put up too much of a fuss when my ear is cleaned. I no longer have an infection and my hair has grown back (I had to be shaved because of knots). I am a little shy until I get to know you but I really enjoy sitting with my foster mom. I also like to sleep in my foster parent's bed at night. I get along with cats and dogs. I am very sweet and definitely deserve a happy home, with lots of love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sassy, a Jacksonville Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
