Bear's Story...
Bear is about 5 years old. She has the cutest face, she looks like a little fox. With the amount of energy she has, you would think she was a puppy. She is very playful and has the sweetest personality. She is not a barker and loves to keep your lap warm. She is always so happy to see you.

She has spent 3 months in an over crowded shelter watching all of her kennel mates come and go. I don't know why no one gave her a chance, she is a great dog and already potty trained which is a plus.

She is like a spring and jumps up with excitement and would benefit from some manners training.

She does great with other dogs and cats and would make a great companion.

You can meet this sweet little girl at the Natomas Marketplace Petsmart on the weekends from 11:30 am - 4:30pm.

Adoption fee applies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Sacramento Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
