Minnie's Story...
"Hi there everybody...if you're looking for a really cute, little, precious, and very lovable Chihuahua girl, then we need to get acquainted. My name is MINNIE, and I'm just one year old. I get along great with other dogs, and I'd make a wonderful family pet. I'm a happy gal who loves to go for walks and chase balls. I'm an all-around great dog. I have a beautiful white and brindle coat, and I love getting brushed to keep me looking my best. Being on the small side, I'd be the perfect size for a house or an apartment, and I wouldn't take up much room either. My hair is very short, so you know for sure that I am one of those easy-care ladies. I'd love to sit on your lap and snuggle, and I sure enjoy those tummy rubs. A trip to our shelter would not be complete until we've had a chance to meet each other, so just ask our kind Shelter Staff to introduce you the incredibly sweet, loving and adorable Chihuahua girl whose name is MINNIE, and we just might discover that we are meant to be together "FUR"EVER. We've got great exercise yards here at the shelter; the perfect place for us to get acquainted, so I'll be watching and waiting for you, and hoping that my dreams for a new forever home will come true before the Holidays arrive. Come hold me in your arms and close to your heart, and I think we just might fall in love with each other. Can't wait to meet you and I hope to see you real soon. Love, Minnie" Kennel #32

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnie, a El Cajon Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
