Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hunky Huckleberry is a four-year-old, 80 lb, Pit/Mastiff mix. He loves people of all kinds, is great with strangers, and loves kids (but because of his size, he can knock over little ones so we'd prefer a home with older kids!). He is just incredibly affectionate, a real dude's dog who loves to play fetch, snuggle on the sofa, and despite his large size, thinks he's a lap dog. This brown and white Goliath is just a stunningly handsome, well-built Hershey's Kiss of a boy, that will have bully-breed lovers stopping you on the street to ask where you got him. And he is a WONDERFUL family dog.
Huck has lived happily with a smaller, older female pit. He is great with other dogs his size (50lbs and up), but CANNOT go to a home with cats or small dogs as he chases them. If your home is in the suburbs/near other homes, we also would like his home to have a fenced yard (no invisible fencing).
Huck needs a grain-free diet (he has a mild gluten allergy). He's up to date on all his shots, and has completed advanced obedience training -- see the pic of him in his graduation hat! He is also housetrained. We know Huck's entire history -- he's always been well taken care of, and owned by good people.
Huck is a very playful and goofy dude who enjoys just about all physical activity, but he's happiest when he gets to cuddle up with someone on the couch and put his giant head in your lap. If you're looking for a best friend to run with or chase balls around the yard, and someone you can curl up with and watch a movie, Huckleberry is your guy!
