Pretty little Lady came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue from a family who could no longer care for her as they found themselves homeless. She is a red dapple smooth coated dachshund who is about 3 years old.
Lady is a super sweet girl who gets along with everyone she meets! She likes to lay with you, cuddle and sleep under the covers with you at night if you will let her. She has a bit of a gentle soul and it shows. She is good with kids and other dogs; we have yet to meet anyone who is not Lady’s friend. We are unsure how she is with cats but with some training we think she would be fine, she adapts very quickly and is one smart cookie.
This girl will do best in a home where someone is either in and out during the day or home all day long as she was used to having her human with her at all times in her previous home. She does show signs of some separation anxiety when left alone, but with patience, a stable household and a little work this will not be an issue.
Lady is house trained; spayed current on shots and just had a dental.
So if you are home most of the time and are looking for a snuggly companion who is a joy to be around please consider Lady.
If you would like to meet Lady please complete an adoption application with Fuzzy Pawz at http://www.fuzzypawzrescue.com/adoptionapplication.
There is a $40 adoption fee for Lady plus the cost of her spay, the rescue has covered the cost of her dental and her vaccinations.
Rescue Group Info...
We are a group of volunteers whose mission is to rescue and re-home abandoned, stray and neglected dogs throughout Southern Idaho. We work with many shelters and pounds that often find themselves with no room to spare.
Whenever possible we also assist dogs who, because of extenuating circumstances, are unable to remain in their homes with their owners.
We do not have a facility but depend on the use of foster homes to provide loving temporary homes for the dogs we save. You can meet each pet through it's contact information on it's posting.
