Jaxie's Story...
Jaxie-Rottie mix male puppy

Jaxie was found in a dropbox one morning at a high kill rural shelter. No one knows why it came to this for such a sweet little boy but a foster home was quickly found so he could come join the Rescue while we looked for a forever home for him. At about 3 mo. of age, Jaxie is full of play and fun. He's learning good house manners in the foster home, too. Jaxie gets along great with other dogs and will be a wonderful addition to some lucky household.

His adoption fee is $275 to help cover the medical expenses of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jaxie, a Germantown Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
