My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People!
I’m Skipper, a cuddly, gentle, well-mannered and delightful Bichon mix of two who loves everyone and everything! Life is Good! I love my foster family! I love my doggy foster brothers! I love car rides and walks! I love kids! And I love to play! Everything is my favorite thing to do!
Dad says that I am very smart, social and that I love to please. He says I’m one of the gentlest and warmest furkids he has ever met – and that I’m amazingly mature for such a young guy. (Aw, Dad, you are making me blush!) Dad says I get along with everyone and love other dogs. He says I give clues about what I need and he knows how to interpret those clues (Dad is really smart, too.) So when I want a belly rub, play time or to chase my doggy foster brother in the back yard Dad knows just what to do!
Mom says I’m completely housebroken, am learning my commands, and am well behaved. She says that, like most bichons, I enjoy having my people near me but I’m also comfortable being at home with my doggy foster brothers.
I’m just a happy, healthy, exuberant little guy who loves life. and would be the perfect family companion. They say when you take one look at me you will fall in love. (Aww, It’s nice to be appreciated, you guys!)
I would love to have my own family to share my joy and love, and maybe a doggy brother or sister to play with – but I could also probably be ok by myself (just not for long periods of time.) Children or grandchildren would be a big plus! In return, I will do my best to keep everyone smiling and feeling important and loved. (That will be easy for me because whatever family adopts me will be my whole world.)
So if you are looking for a best friend who will be no trouble and will give lots of cuddles, then I am the dog for the job. And I am ready for my life’s next assignment.
I’ll be watching for you,
Sociable and Very Special Skipper
