Hello, my name is RHINESTONE (4yrs & 50lbs). I am a beautiful husky girl but I have a bobbed tail and the wiggle of an Aussie so you really need to come and meet me and see what you think of me. I get along ok with the other dogs. I like to meet them properly without them jumping all over me right off the bat. I have the attitude that I might be a little bossy. I am fine with them after I know them and can get along great. They say us husky's can be like that so I guess I am doing my part then huh?! So if you are looking for a beautiful out of puppyhood type gal then you definitely have to come and meet me. I can't wait to see you!

The Columbiana County Dog Pound is a small, rural shelter in eastern Ohio. At one time, only a small percentage of the dogs entering the Pound made it out alive. Now, thanks to the vision of the County Commissioners, the Pound staff, and a dedicated group of volunteers, the Pound has become a source of hope. It is a place where lives are saved, not lost.
Columbiana was one of the first counties in the state to require that all dogs be spayed/neutered before leaving the Pound. This policy addresses the pet overpopulation problem at its source.
So take a look at our pooches and meet the dog of your dreams!

Hours:
Monday - Wednesday: 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm
Thursday: 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm
Friday: 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm
Saturday: 9am to 12pm
Sunday: Closed.
If these times are inconvenient for you, call the staff and arrange a time to meet the dogs...

The adoption fee is $100, which includes a DHLPP vaccine, a rabies vaccine, de-worming, an Ohio dog license, and spay/neuter surgery. Additional low-cost vet care is available upon request.
Approved rescue groups can pull dogs at reduced fees.
