Greta is a young female (approx. 2) and is very sweet. She was picked up by a rural VA shelter and her family never came for her.

She is a petitie girl, approx. 100 poinds, but what she lacks in stature, she makes up for in personality. Greta is an absolute love toi be around! She is currently being fostered in a family with a female dog and a 7 year old child and is quickly learning to be a well behaved member of hte family.

Greta will be spayed, microchipped and brought up to date on vaccines before she is adopted. Her surgery is scheduled for the week of December 4, and she should be ready to go to a new home the middle to end of December.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Greta (VA), a Asheboro English Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Mastiff for sale in Asheboro, or seeking a English Mastiff dog from a breeder in Asheboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Asheboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Asheboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Mastiff breeders who help with English Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Asheboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
