Lyla (Courtesy Post)'s Story...
Lyla is a sweet 1 year-old female pit bull whose owner had her since she was 2 months old but had to give her up. She is a very calm dog and is great with kids and adults and will gladly sleep with you in your bed. Lyla is in terrific shape, weighing 52 pounds at her last exam. She is spayed and is current on her shots. She appears to have a slight hearing issue, but further evaluation by a vet is needed. Lyla knows basic commands such as sit and down, but will need further training on in-home behavior so she doesn’t climb on furniture, etc. Lyla is house trained, but an occasional accident might happen until she is fully acclimated in her new home. She will not be good with cats, and while she is good with other dogs, small dogs that remind her of cats might be problematic.
