Zooey the Gray Tabby's Story...
Zooey is one of 8 kittens we rescued from the housing projects in Bed Stuy. such a gorgeous beauty with a gorgeous silver tabby coat and wonderful eyes. She is very sweet, comes off as shy at first, but put that little girl in your lap and after about 3 minutes she is as soft as butter and purring madly. All this wee one needs is a day of hugs, kisses and pets! Sadly we have too many kitties to give her that full attention, but I've seen what happens when I do spend an hour with her and wow, what a sweet little angel. Here is a video of her with Kenny, the other is a video of just her: http://youtu.be/u201mC-vh98

Zooey is spayed tested neg for fiv/leuk and up-to-date on shots and microchipped.

Be her second rescuer and give her a great home, contact claire at catskittensnyc@gmail.com (best) or call eves/weekends at 7184555711

Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel. Every dime we take in helps us to take care of the next angel who needs to be rescued.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zooey the Gray Tabby, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
