Cherokee's Story...
My name is Cherokee and I am a lovely 7 yo girl who has been here at the shelter for a very long time. You see, I was surrended by an elderly couple who could no longer care for me. I had lived my entire life with them and the transition has been difficult. I tend to sit at the back of my cage when a visitor says hello so I guess I am not making the best impression. But you see, I really am a wonderful girl who needs a little time to adjust. Once I feel comfortable I am very friendly and affectionate. I am current on my medical -- and although I tested FIV+ I am very heatlhy. If you can give me the gift of patience, I promise to give you the gift of love.

Please e mail denisesinico@hotmail.com for an adoption application. You will be sent an application for completion and upon approval will be notified of available cats and kittens as well as adoption events.

About Westfield Homeless Cat Project

About Our Rescue Group...

Established in 2006, the Westfield Homeless Cat Project is a NO KILL cat rescue and shelter.

We take in homeless and surrendered cats and kittens by appointment only. Animals may not be dropped off at our facility without prior approval. We do everything in our power to accommodate all animals and each situation is looked at on an individual basis and judged accordingly.

We are strictly an all volunteer organization. We heavily rely on private donations as we receive no state/federal funding or grants.
