My name is Beau. I am a very sweet and loving 10 year old German Shepherd. I love to be petted and taken for walks and occasional jogs. I will sit nicely for treats and will always make sure to tell you when there may be people at the door. I am wonderful with other dogs and cats. I am perfect for a retired person who wants to stay active. One huge benefit of having an older dog like myself is that I only have to use the restroom twice a day and can be left alone for over 12 hours.
I weigh about 55 lbs and am currently in great health. I do have sensitive skin so I am very particular on the type of shampoo used when bathing me. I do have a bit of a stubborn streak but as long as I am kept active I am very compliant. I don't really care for toddlers or puppies, I mean an old guy doesn't like having his hair pulled or his eyes poked all the time! But I love older kids, the kind that love running around and playing with me!
My Mommy is very sad that she needs to find me a new home, but she isn't able to give me the time that I need and she believes that I deserve better!

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION
A. ARK-Animal Rescue Konsortium, Inc. was formed exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Specifically, the organization provides medical services for injured wildlife and medical and adoption services for abandoned pets including dogs, cats, birds, and exotics.
B. Methods for achieving this goal follow:
1. Rescue Action

4. Spay and Neuter Free Roaming Cats
5 Encourage Countywide TNR Program
6. Network with Other Rescue Organizations
7. Promote Countywide No-Kill Shelters
8. Create a wildlife rescue and education center

Pets are also at foster homes so appointments must be made.
All animals have been fully vetted: Serilized, up to date on shots, personality tested with other animals and children.
Fees vary according to health, age of animal. Two references, one a veterinarian, home visit, fenced yard if other than very small dog.
We rescue from across Florida and Georgia.
