Polaris-URGENT's Story...
Polaris, approximately 1.5 years old, 45 lbs, heart worm negative, sadly the staff kept waiting for Polaris’ owners to come in and bail him out of the shelter like they promised but it was not to be, so now he is available for adoption and eager and ready for a new home, happy and friendly, outgoing, people oriented, playful, loves toys, enjoys attention, sweet boy, cute, responsive, learning the sit command, will jump on you in his excitement but with some lessons in manners he will be just fine, it’s hard to be in a kennel for three weeks and remember ALL of your manners, loves treats, gives kisses, lively, alert, keen sense of smell, bouncy, will be a wonderful addition to an active home where someone will play with him on a daily basis

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polaris-URGENT, a Red Bluff Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Red Bluff, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Red Bluff.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Red Bluff already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Red Bluff breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Red Bluff paves the way for another one to be saved.
