Sunshine's Story...
Sunshine is a sweet girl, she was attacked by another dog, and has needed to time to heal her wounds. She has no aggression toward other dogs, even after what she went through. She is as loving a dog as one could ask for, and desparately needs someone to help her know, humans can and will be her best friend. She can go to a home with other pets, as she is currently fostered with both female and male dogs, introduction is the key. We have not established if she is housebroken, but will soon be getting her more time in a home enviroment. She is getting spayed tomorrow, yay! So happy she is healthy and ready for adoption, although we will all miss this special girl. Updated pictures coming soon, focus has been on her health, but we need to get this girl out there for people to meet, so she can wow you with her personality.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunshine, a Stephens City Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Stephens City, or seeking a Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Stephens City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stephens City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stephens City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stephens City paves the way for another one to be saved.
