My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hunter is a happy cuddly six year old. He is past the hyper puppy stage, but he has energy to spare at the dog park! He runs like the wind! He is a gentle, big hearted boy that had some rough first years. He was grossly neglected and finally abandoned and picked up by the Animal Shelter. When he was put on the kill list at the shelter, he would sing and sing and sing. They would take him off the kill list because of his sad singing. His singing saved him more than once there. Once we rescued him, he was on his way to recovery and finding out what life was meant to be in the first place.
Hunter is neutered, and house trained. He is so well house trained, he will sit around at home all day long alone and not touch a thing. He waits for someone to come home and then he gets really happy and wants to run, play and snuggle! He is about perfect for a house pet. He is active, but not hyper. He loves to run and play with other dogs, but enjoys laying close to you and getting a belly rub.
Hunter is a real survivor. His first owner never cared for him or provided him with attention or protection. Hunter’s sweet spirit and mild disposition must have helped him through many long lonely difficult days.
Hunter knows what a good life is now, and wants to have memories to remember not to forget. He has some scars and wounds still with him, but he is ready for a family he can love and spend the rest of his life with in peace and safety. We are sure he will one day tell you all about it. J
