Tiger's Info...
| Breed: | Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier Mix | Color: | Brindle - With White | Age: | Young |
| Size: | Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) | Sex: | Male | ID#: | 17897758 |
Tiger is a 1 y/o brindle terrier mix. With the eyes of a tiger, he will surely melt your heart! Tiger was someone's pet before, but he was surrendered when his humans had to move. He is a super fun and playful guy! He would be great for an active family that loves to take hikes. After a long hike, Tiger is exhausted and would just like to cuddle up and take a nap!
Tiger has shown us that he prefers to go potty outside, which may mean he's housetrained but could use a refresher when he goes to his forever home. He loves having his back scratched and he has shown eagerness to interact with other dogs and politely greets them! Tiger knows some cool tricks already, such as sit and drop-it! He also listens very well to corrections and is super smart, so further obedience training shouldn't be too difficult.
Tiger is part of the Pen Pal program which means he has his own special volunteer that spends time working with him to make him more adoptable! If you're interested in adopting or fostering Tiger or have any other questions, don't hesitate to email his PenPal Becca at swanr1@student.lasalle.edu. Please bring any family dogs and children down to meet Tiger to make sure he'd be the perfect newest member of your family!

ACCT Philly is an independent, 501c3 nonprofit organization, contracted by the City of Philadelphia to provide animal control services. Our animal control officers provide service over 142.6 square miles to the city’s more than 1.5 million residents and ACCT Philly’s facility in North Philadelphia handles more than 32,000 of the city’s animals, from dogs and cats, to small animals, reptiles, birds and wildlife, annually.
In addition to animal control and sheltering, ACCT Philly is open 365 days a year for pet adoptions.
