Sprocket's Story...
From day one, Sprocket was as gentle and trusting as they come. Today, he just a happy-go-lucky puppy who wants to explore, play and love. He is learning to play fetch, but sometimes decides keep away is more fun. Sprocket is a smart boy and learned his his name in a couple days. He knows “sit,” gives kisses when requested and is learning “down,” “stay,” and “calm.” He is both house and crate trained and will go into his crate when directed. Sprocket loves to instigate play with his canine foster sister, a pittie named Penny, especially tag or keep away. He realizes he is much faster and she can’t catch him. He has learned that his foster feline brother, Asher, is not interested in playing. So, he calmly sniffs him on occasion. Sprocket is quickly learning his manners and is eager to please. He is the best cuddler and fancies himself a lap dog. Everyone he meets talks about how cute he is. He does have the cutest freckled nose, expressive eyes and floppy ears. So, he is undeniably cute.

About Our Rescue Group...
Bella’s Bully Buddies is an all volunteer, non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue pit bull type dogs from abuse, neglect and abandonment. While the dogs are in our care, we provide excellent nutrition, training and enrichment, veterinary care and lots of love in our network of foster homes. Our goal is to find each and every one of them a forever home where they will be loved as a part of the family for the rest of their lives. Through everyday interactions and community events we work to educate the public about the loyal, intelligent and loving nature that make pit bull type dogs wonderful companions and family members.

The process includes and application with personal and veterinary references, a telephone interview, a meet and greet with the entire family and a home visit.
