Donny and his friend, Dunkin, were found roaming around the local Dunkin Donuts parking lot. Begging the customers for food, and dodging cars, it was just a matter of time before someone scooped the two of them up. Apparently abandoned, these guys were not meant for the great outdoors. All they needed was a safe place to be. Born around December 1, 2011, these two boys could not be sweeter or more affectionate. They love to be held and just melt in your arms. Donny is a stunning black and white long haired boy who reaches his paw out to you to get your attention. Both boys have the gentlest of temperaments and could not be happier to have been rescued.
Donny is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!
It is our mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in. S.T.A.R.T. is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization relying on and supported by tax-deductible donations, grants and group fund raising.

Out of state adoptions require additional time pending our officers approval; you must be 21 years or older to adopt; an application does not guarantee an adoption approval.
