Jack's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jack's Story...
I was a stray found near a vet clinic. Because I haven't had the best life I am shy and initially afraid of dogs, cats and humans that we don't know. I will warm up to you but it will take some time before I are sure we can trust you. Jack can get used to his surroundings a little faster. Once I do know that I can trust you, I am one the most affectionate kitties ever. My favorite thing is sitting with my foster Mom while she pets me and scratches us behind our ears. I like to play with toys too. I really want to find my forever home and move in as soon as possible. I know I will make a difference in the lives of the family who ends up adopting me just as much as they will make a difference in mine. I have lived with both dogs and other cats in our foster home so, we can make it work if you can. I have never lived with children. I am very sweet and even when we are really scared by our foster Mom I have never done anything to hurt her so I would probably be okay with kids but I am not sure since we've never met any. My fur is so soft and you can immediately see how sweet I am are if you pick us up. I’m sure you will want to adopt me once you get to know me. Please contact for more information about us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Smyrna Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Smyrna, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Smyrna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smyrna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smyrna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smyrna paves the way for another one to be saved.
