My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Onyx - This little black labby mix girl is the sweetest, most lovable and cutest girl ever and how she found herself is such an awful shelter we sure don’t know. We just know that her life is getting better and better every day. Onyx is a small girl, weighing about 30 lbs and is about 1 year old. She looks like a little mini-lab with a shiny black coat and has personality plus. Onyx gets along great with her canine foster brother and sister and loves to romp and play with them. She also loves her foster family’s children. Most of all, she loves it when her foster mom scratches her behind her ears, tells her what a beautiful girl she is and gives her a yummy treat. Onyx would do great in any family situation and would love to go for long walks, hikes or just lay by the fireplace this winter with her family. Onyx would be considered a medium energy girl. We are not sure about cats, but can cat test if needed.
Onyx is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. She is on flea and tick preventative and heartworm preventative. Onyx is also crate trained and house trained. If you would be interested in hearing more about Onyx, please indicate her in the notes section of the online application
