My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Stanley. It's not a very fitting name for me because I am so full of love and I make a great lap dog.

I got rescued straight from the pound and boy was it ever scary there! I was matted to the skin and every inch of my hair had to be cut off! Boy did I look funny with no hair.

I am about four years old, I weigh 4 pounds and I'm full of energy! I love to walk walk walk. So if you like to walk a lot, I'm the dog for you. I can walk with a collar or a halter... I don't care, I just want to walk. I'm used to walking 2 to 4 miles a day!

If I don't exercise, I become very nervous and my housebreaking skills get bad. But I really try hard to be a good little doggie and I'll happily wear a belly band (that's a diaper for boy dogs) when I'm nervous. If I can't wear a belly band, I'll happily stay in my crate when I can't be supervised.

Other dogs make me nervous but I seem to get along with the little ones just fine. Cats don't bother me either.

If I don't sound like too much trouble for you, please let me come live with you forever. Did I mention I really like to walk?
