Here is what else her foster family had to say:
As we mentioned, Penny is a very happy and well socialized girl! She is great with other dogs, gives space if asked, regarding feeding my other dogs. Loves to walk, although pulls a bit but when asked to go "easy" she does, you just have to keep "checking" the leash and she listens. Loves her cuddles, belly rubbed, but her "smile" when asked is priceless, she shows her teeth to smile!!! Not one accident in the house and doesn't have any want in chewing anything of ours and I never put anything away. Not crate trained and doesn't need to be. If I tell her to stay when I go upstairs, she doesn't move a hair!!!! She's amazing....did I mention that????haha
Penny has excellent house manners. She is better than my dogs! She loves her "groceries" so she will try and check out the other bowls but when told "no" she backs off. She comes, sits, lays down, leave it, stay and of course SMILES!!!!!! She is fully house trained. No crate and I have not fenced any part of the house and ALL the Christmas stuff is up!!!!!!!!!!!
She is leash trained but pulls....just shorten it and check it, she is fine. She never tries to bolt out the door...her understanding of "stay" is amazing. She is awesome in the car! Loves visitors!!!!!!!! She will jump on the door, looking to see "where are ya going?" No barking. Some when we get back home, but when told "no barking" she stops.
Penny loves to play chase and retrieve her balls, loves her bones and laying at your feet for petting. Penny is a wee bit over weight, so walking is important and she loves it!! She does very well with other dogs, new visitors and car rides. She will need to be groomed, by brushing her, which she loves. Once again she is an amazing girl and we are truly happy to have her as a foster, any family would be lucky to have Penny in their lives!!!!!
