Lily's Story...
Lily is a 10-lb bundle of sweetness! She was a shelter favorite, and quickly won the hearts of everyone at the vet. And we kinda like her too. :)

At first glance I thought she might be a purebred bichon, but she's got an adorable little underbite and a curly-Q tail, so I think she might be mixed with shihtzu. Lily has super-soft, curly, non-shedding bichon hair, white with a touch of beige on her ears. She was very matted when he came into the shelter so she got the usual shelter shave-down. But she's going to be the most gorgeous fluff on the block as soon as her hair grows back (she's pretty cute already)!

Lily is a smart, healthy 2-yr-old pup with big brown eyes; she's affectionate, lively, playful, and gives great kisses. She is very puppy-like, and loves to play. She tries to play with the dogs, the cats, or anyone who will play with her. But mostly, Lily just wants to be with you. She walks happily on a leash, and she rides well in the car. She is also very content to curl up on your lap or lie next to you for a belly rub. This little sweetheart is a delight!

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vet checked, current on vaccinations, microchipped, groomed, de-wormed, de-flea'd, and come with a collar, leash, ID tag, and puppy kisses from the lucky dog you take home!

If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Lily, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Please go to our website www.k9bestfriendsforever.com and click on "Adopt" which will take you to our online application form. LILY IS BEING FOSTERED IN ROSEVILLE.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Fresno Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Fresno, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Fresno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fresno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fresno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fresno paves the way for another one to be saved.
