Ziggy's Story...
My name is Ziggy, I am a 2 year old Pomeranian and I have an adorable underbite (if you're into that kind of thing.) I came to HCW after my family lost their home and had to move to a shelter. I have great house manners and I'm completely house trained. I get along great with my friends here at the rescue. I have never been around cats before but I like them, so if you have cats they are safe with me. When my foster mom took me to the vet for my check-up Dr. Ellie said I have glaucoma in one of my eyes but it's no biggie. I just get a drop in the morning for pressure and go on about my business because I can see just fine. If you love my pictures wait until you meet me in person.

If you are considering giving me a forever home, won't you please go to www.heavencanwaitanimalrescue.com and submit an application today?

Thanks for adopting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziggy, a Russellville Pomeranian/Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Pekingese for sale in Russellville, or seeking a Pomeranian/Pekingese dog from a breeder in Russellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Russellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Russellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Pekingese breeders who help with Pomeranian/Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Russellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
