Brianna's Story...
Meet our precious Brianna. This girl's fate was sealed when her owner turned her in to be euthanized. Due to her biting the neighbor's sheep, I guess they deemed it was an issue that couldn't be corrected. We are so thankful that instead of euthanizing her the vet contacted us. She is one special, smart, beautiful girl. She does great with basic commands sit and lay down. Since she is such a big girl it's also great that she isn't a jumper....she knows "off" very well. She loves other dogs and children. We haven't tested her with cats, but we can do that upon request. Please contact us to come out and meet Brianna because her pictures just don't do her justice. Even though her story is sad, she has been given a second chance -- a chance that she deserves.

If you are interested in adopting Brianna or any other of our wonderful dogs, please go to and submit an application today.

Thanks for adopting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brianna, a Russellville Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador Retriever for sale in Russellville, or seeking a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Russellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Russellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Russellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Russellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
