Louie's Story...

Louie is a 6 year blue male Weimarnaer.  Louie is an amazing Weimaraner! He is housebroken, great with other dogs and children. He loves everyone he meets. He is a typical Weimaraner who wants to be where you are at all the time. He sleeps on a dog bed everynight without problems. He's not a fan of his cage but will go in it. With that being said he has free run of the house and does fine when we are at work. He does good on and of leash and doesn't roam.  He knows his name and will sit shake and lay down. Where ever we are at his head is normally on our lap our shoulders. He is content to sit on the couch next to one of us most of the day. He loves to go walking or just walking through the woods with our other two. House Springs MO (about 30 mints from St. Louis)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a St. Louis Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
