Amy!'s Story...
This is Amy! She is a cute little (15 pound) Fox Terrier mix that a good samaritan picked up off the street. With the help of our awesome new foster Mom we were able to take her into our program. She is about 4 to 6 months old and probably won't grow larger than 20 or 25 pounds.

Amy is adorable and also very smart! She is inquisitive and learns quickly. She gets along wonderfully with the older female dog in her foster home. We didn't add that she is good with kids on this page simply because we haven't seen her around kids yet, but she is a friendly, docile little lady and we don't anticipate any issues, but we're gonna check anyway to be sure!

Amy has all of her shots and will be spayed and micro-chipped prior to adoption. She is a great little girl who will make someone very happy! Contact us today for an adoption application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amy!, a New Orleans Fox Terrier (Smooth) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Smooth) for sale in New Orleans, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Smooth) puppy from a breeder in New Orleans.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Orleans already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Orleans breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Smooth) breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Smooth) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Orleans paves the way for another one to be saved.
