Jezebel's Story...
Jezebel is a pretty little 3-4 month old (December 2012) calico kitten. She was originally prepped for life as a barn cat, hence her ear-tip. But we found she had no survival skills suitable for outdoor country living and was just too darn friendly. Additionally, she lost her siblings/playmates at a very young age. Jezebel is fostered in a home with adult cats and a kitten playmate about the same age. She will require a home with other animals, as she thrives in environments with other animals.

All of our cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and have been tested for FIV and FeLV prior to being made available for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jezebel, a Edmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Edmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Edmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
