Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Ben's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ben's Story...
Has been through a lot. But thankfully was rescued from a high kill shelter at the nick of time. Now all he needs is a wonderful family and a place to call home where he can be loved for the rest of his life :-)
Loves affection and just being near people. He needs
some work on the leash but loves long walks. He is crate trained and
house broken. He will be neutered on the 22nd. He's very energetic
but not overbearing. He loves chewing on his bone. And does a little
dance for meals. He's good with other dogs but I've found most big
dogs don't seem to like him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ben, a Fort Lauderdale Basenji/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basenji/Labrador Retriever for sale in Fort Lauderdale, or seeking a Basenji/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Fort Lauderdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Lauderdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Lauderdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basenji/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Basenji/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Lauderdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
