Minna's Story...
Hi, my name is Minna and I am a B*I*G girl! Good thing I’ve got a sweet personality. Otherwise my 115 lbs could knock you over. Believe it or not, I’m a bit underweight. That’s my only negative, and personally, I don’t consider being big as a bad thing. I walk well on leash, am reliably house trained, I know sit and down. Once I got to know a large male dog I could probably live with him, but my preference is to be the Queen of the Household. Everyone loves my sense of humor too. Daily brushing is going to be important to me; I tend to tangle my long fur. If you need a co-pilot, riding along with you is one of my favorite things. Animal Control was not very happy with the last people who had me. They saw them hitting me, and they had a prong collar on that dug into my neck, plus they had a muzzle on me. Geez … I’m such an easy girl there’s no reason to do that! Glad I’m not with them any more. I’m looking forward to going to my forever home soon! Like yesterday 

Minna, a Augusta County Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute for sale in Augusta County, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Augusta County.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Augusta County already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Augusta County breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Augusta County paves the way for another one to be saved.
