Stormy *extra toes*'s Story...
DOB April 26, 2012. Not just another black cat!

We are so misunderstood. But once you have owned or known a black cat, you can appreciate the gentle affectionate nature. We are loyal, and we are purring machines. Ask my foster mom. She “thought” the lighter colours made for a better nature. Blacks sorta scare some people. Then my foster mom got her first all black foster cat and thank goodness for Fizz (her first) as he made my mom a believer. She has now fostered many other black cats and always gets the same result.

You must believe in personality. I'm going to be your constant companion for many years. Then look at my sparkling eyes and my glossy coat. Now notice that I am polydactyl - all the more to hug you with.

I am clean. I always use the litter box. I am not a fussy eater, just feed me please. I love toys, and I have been fostered with other cats and the family dog...she's annoying but it's a peaceful and fun house. Yes, you can cut my nails... I promise no scratches or freaking out. I'm more of a teenager than a kitten, so you are assured that my fabulous personality is set. I've been lucky so far, and I'm waiting for the perfect home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stormy *extra toes*, a Toronto Polydactyl/Hemingway cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Polydactyl/Hemingway for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Polydactyl/Hemingway cat from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Polydactyl/Hemingway breeders who help with Polydactyl/Hemingway rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
