Chucky's Story...
Please enjoy the video of Chucky!

Chucky is the best of all dogs. He's playful, cheery, and yet quite the affectionate guy. He sleeps with his foster mom and doesn't move an inch. As you can see from the video, this dog gets along fine with dogs of all sizes. He ignores the cat. He is being fostered in Weeki Wachee, Florida along with 8 other dogs and a cat.

Chucky is neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, and licensed.

There is a $100 adoption donation to adopt Chucky. This helps to reimburse us for veterinary expenses.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chucky, a Weeki Wachee Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Weeki Wachee, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Weeki Wachee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weeki Wachee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weeki Wachee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weeki Wachee paves the way for another one to be saved.
