I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, not good with kids, and good with cats.
COURTESY POSTING:
Mr Ginger is a happy year old dark orange tabby with eyes to match. He enjoys Public Radio and his window-side seat at the Live at the Birdfeeder Show. Ginger also keeps your life balance in mind. When you've spent too much time at the computer, he will come and tug on you, and tell you enough, it's time for a play break. Ginger keeps in shape with feather wand aerobics and stairway sprints. While Ginger is not a lap cat, you will always find him next to you. He is a cautious cat when it comes to anything new and still startles easily at loud noises and sudden movements so I don't think he would do well with young children. But I know that given time and patience to get used to his new home and new person(s), Ginger will be a very loyal and affectionate feline companion. He is neutered and all shots are up to date. Someone somewhere doesn’t know what they are missing out on by not adopting Ginger. I’ve never had a cat slap me when he felt ignored or overlooked for something good. And I love the way he body slams to show affection. I’ll be in the chair next to the one by the window. He stands up on his back legs, and sort of twists and slams (gently) his shoulder into my upper arm and rubs his head and mews. Sometimes he starts by putting his front paws on my lower arm and tugs. He knows his name and he knows ‘where’s your toys’ means the feather wand is coming out..
To inquire about Ginger, please contact Linda Mathis at leilabaldur@hotmail.com Thanks!

Rescue Group Info...
We are a small, grass-roots volunteer effort dedicated to easing the problems faced by unwanted Siamese cats and kittens and their non-Siamese cousins. We use foster homes for our animals to provide them with a warm and loving environment from which to be adopted; we give all of our animals excellent vet care to ensure they have a good start in life. We offer education and advice on cat care and cat behavior issues; we provide courtesy listings for adoptable pets for free on our web site. We provide support to indigent owners (emergency food and vet care assistance) as we are able and offer advice and assistance on resolving landlord pet issues (including ADA therapy pet designation). We are dedicated to making life easier for the animals who love and trust us and look to us for their safety, security, and happiness. The problems are large and we are small but we try hard to make a difference for cats at risk.
Donations may be sent to Blue's Mews Siamese Cat Rescue, 273 Fairway Drive, Fairborn, OH 45324
We show our kittens at Pet Supplies Plus in Centerville and in Kettering on alternate Saturdays from 1 to 6 pm. We also visit Moochie and Co. at the Greene on the first Sunday of the month. We also show our animals in their home environments, by appointment, evenings and weekends.
Adoption requirements include an application that tells us something about the adoptive family and authorizes us to contact the family's vet for references, a phone or in-person interview, and at the director's discretion, home visitation. We provide an adoption contract that lists the animal's current and anticipated health care and delineates the owner's and our responsibilities. All cats and kittens have a 3-week health guarantee, in which we assume responsibility for vet care for any unrecognized or incubating health issues, and a 2-week satisfaction guarantee which provides a full refund for animals returned within the 2-week timeframe. Our adoption fees are $75 per Siamese mix or Siamese Wannabe and $100 per Siamese. Cats and kittens adopted in pairs are substantially discounted.
Blue's Mews Siamese Cat Rescue is a small, volunteer-run, non-profit organization assisting Siamese cats, Siamese mixes, and Siamese wannabes (doesn't every cat want to be Siamese?).
We serve the greater Dayton/Fairborn/Beavercreek area (including, but not limited to, Montgomery, Greene, Clark counties)
