My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pending adoption as of 7-11-13

READ THE ENTIRE WRITE-UP; it has all the info on the dog, the adoption donation amount, our adoption process, & any requirements in their permanent home,. We need a completed adoption application before anyone meets the dog(s).

Phoebe is a pure-bred Yorkshire Terrier female. She's 2 to 2.5 years old, & about 8.2 lbs. She's a beautiful, feminine Yorkie with a gentle disposition. Phoebe is a typical Yorkie - she's sweet, happy, good with small dogs, & is loving/affectionate to her humans. She has an excellent temperament & is not a barker. She's an active dog & loves to play with her K9 foster friends. She'll be happiest in a home with at least 1 small, young dog (not bigger than 12 lbs & not older than 4 years). She's good with most small female dogs but not those who are very dominant or hyper types who are in her face too much of the time. She's afraid/uncomfortable around big dogs. Phoebe is spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, treated for fleas & ticks, professionally groomed, & had a dental by our vet. She's needs a little more work on her potty training & goes outdoors. Her foster Mom says she's only has a piddle accident 1-2 times a week. She would do best in a home with either all adults, or a family with older children (10 years & up who have small dog experience & know how to properly treat them). Phoebe's adoption donation is $500 & includes her lifetime microchip registration. If you have the type of home that Phoebe needs, click here Adoption Guidelines. Thank you for choosing to adopt & save the life of a homeless pet!
