Morgan's Story...
Morgan is a handsome, acrobatic, fun, and extremely playful one-year-old, male, tiger-striped tabby cat looking for a loving guardian. Morgan enjoys the company of dogs and is an athletic, fearless, bold and active young cat who loves to play. He loves to play and would be happy in a home with another young playful cat or dog. Morgan uses his litter box and scratching post like a good boy. He is healthy, neutered, de-wormed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, micro-chipped, and virus-tested. To meet and possibly adopt Morgan, please contact his foster mom Kristan at kristan@ameritech.net or 773-425-5305. His adoption fee of $75 benefits the rescued pets of Famous Fido’s.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Morgan, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
