Betty's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Betty's Story...
Betty is probably 6 or 7 years old. She came to the shelter pregnant and soon gave birth to 7 healthy puppies which are now all adopted. It's Betty's turn. She is very sweet and not too hyper. She walks well on leash. She enjoys petting and hanging out with people. She is protective of her area and will bark when strangers come around. She is very smart and learns very quickly. Spayed, chipped and current on shots. The funny pictures were taken by some of the high school kids who volunteer and come and play with her often. She would prefer to be the only dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betty, a Tillamook Pit Bull Terrier/Akita dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Akita for sale in Tillamook, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Akita dog from a breeder in Tillamook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tillamook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tillamook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Akita breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tillamook paves the way for another one to be saved.
