Angel's Story...
Angel is around 7 months old, and one of the sweetest puppies you will ever meet! Angel came to us from a rural shelter that was full and going to have to euthanize for space. A foster family out near the shelter was kind enough to foster her until she could get to us, now Angel is spayed, chipped, HW neg, vaccinated, and ready for her new home! She is housebroken and crate trained, and a fantastic dog! She walks nicely on a leash, is good with dogs, cats, and kids, and is a well-socialized puppy. Her adoption fee is $175.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Lancaster Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lancaster, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Lancaster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lancaster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lancaster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lancaster paves the way for another one to be saved.
