Yankee's Story...
Hiya! My name is Yankee and I’m excited that you are interested in learning more about me. I’m not sure whether I’m named for the popular baseball team or that funny Yankee Doodle Dandy song, but no matter. It’s a name you can easily remember, that’s for sure. I have a personality to remember too so it’s a great fit.

I have one of those life stories that sounds like it could only be make believe, but I assure you it is all true. My family moved me away from my home, but for some reason I got away from my new home and went right back to my old home. Maybe I left one of my toys behind? My family never came back for me, so I ended up here. It’s sad that I lost my family, but it’s time to move onwards and upwards and find my true family. I have a sneaking feeling that it just might be you!

I have experience being around children and I do great with them. I have also lived with dogs before – two of them. Of course, maybe they were what drove me to run away from home. Ha, just kidding! I get along with cats and of course grown-up people too. I’m an equal opportunity cat. Some say that I will sit on command so I bet you can teach me lots of fun tricks. I will probably even jump up and stand on your shoulders to demonstrate my prowess. I am a real dandy guy if I do say so myself. Run, don’t walk, down here and make me a part of your family today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yankee, a Denver Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Denver, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
