Norman's Story...
This little cutie pie is Norman. Norman is a young 2-6 month old, medium sized, 33 pound, black with a white strip on his face and a white underbelly and legs, Terrier, Pitbull Mix. This poor boy was found roaming the streets all by himself. Everywhere this little boy goes he gets compliments on how cute he is. He is real playful and curious. He does pretty well on car rides. He is super friendly and dog social. In fact he is in our shared housing program, where he gets to share his kennel space with another dog. That way Norman can play all day long. Bring in your whole family to meet this adorable little man! Hurry on in and meet Norman!

Act quickly to adopt Norman. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Norman, a Philadelphia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
