Pawnee's Info...

Pawnee's Story...
This is Pawnee, a brown, brindle female from the Indian Litter. Her mommy is Cheyanne, a whippet/lab/terrier mix and her dad was a black lab. Pawnee is the last puppy, from her litter, to be adopted. Pawnee was born 11/2/12. She is about 11 weeks old and is ready for her forever home. She would do well with children and other animals. She would be an easy dog for a first time pet owner. She is playful, but not hyper. She is a baby, so she's a bit needy. All in all though, she's a very easy puppy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pawnee, a Garden City Labrador Retriever/Whippet puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Whippet for sale in Garden City, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Whippet puppy from a breeder in Garden City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Whippet breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden City paves the way for another one to be saved.
