Sophie's Story...
My name is Sophie, and I am a very sweet shy 1 year old little girl that is so full of love! I get along with the animals here at the rescue and we run and play every day together in our large play yard. I am current on all my shots, I am heart worm negative and am spayed. They tell me that I have the sweetest eyes in the world you can almost see the love and devotion I have for people right in my eyes. I am a young girl, and am potty trained to a doggy door. Being that I am shy I will need someone with a gentle hand to guide me in what they want me to do and I will gladly do whatever they want, Please consider me for you new family member and give me my happy ending. If you are interested in adopting me please go to this wonderful rescues web site and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Russellville Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Russellville, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Russellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Russellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Russellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Russellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
