Stella's Story...
Emily and her mother Elise came to our rescue after someone dumped them at one of our volunteers home. Emily is the small of the 2, she is the mostly white girly in the pictures. She is currently being fostered in a home with other 4-legged friends and she is doing AMAZING. Fully potty/crate trained and she has finally discovered a squeaky toy and its her new favorite thing. She goes to doggie daycare about 3-4 days a week and she has made all kinds of new friends. If you would like to meet Miss. Emily please go to our website: and fill out an application for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a Russellville Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Russellville, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Russellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Russellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Russellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Russellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
