Man's Best Friend Danny Boy!'s Story...
Danny Boy is 7 month old kitty. He was rescued on a cold rainy night. Clearly, he had just been dumped by his heartless owners, beside a colony of feral cats. He saw one of our rescuers and begged her for help. Taken by his good looks and charm she picked him up and carried him home.
Danny Boy is the sweetest, most playful kitty you could ever meet. He is almost dog like as he follows you around the house or contently sits on your lap for hours. He is also willing to help with any projects you might have around the house. Danny will also provide the music as he purrs and purrs, and would never refuse a good snuggle session. His favorite pass time: chasing his dangly toy, getting tummy rub and being your shadow.
Since Danny Boy loves having all the attention he would prefer to have you all to himself without another kitty.
If you would love to have a dog that you don't have to walk, who purrs instead of barks... Danny is your boy!
Danny Boy received A+ from the vet, he is neutered, up to date with vaccines, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, worm and flee free.
If you want to set up a play date please contact Donna at 917-691-9466 or straycatstrutnyc@gmail.com.
Thank you very much for thinking of a rescued kitty!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Man's Best Friend Danny Boy!, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
