Gabby - Adoption Pending's Story...
Meet adoptable Gabby! She is a friendly, medium-haired, spayed female tuxedo (black and white) cat, approximately under one year old (perhaps 7-9 months). She was found in Huntsville, but unclaimed. Now in foster care, Gabby is spayed and has been given all her shots. She is a purring machine! She loves to lay in your lap and loves to be around people. Her foster family says she great with children, cats, and dogs!* She adores investigating any box, cupboard, or closet within, and sometimes without, reach!
*Though our volunteers try their best, we cannot guarantee that any rescued animal will be a perfect match for each resident, child, or resident pet in every foster/forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabby - Adoption Pending, a Huntsville Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
