Lucy Lou's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lucy Lou's Story...
Lucy Lou was seized from terrible living conditions. Her and her six week old puppies were taken from their neglectful owner's who were breeding their dogs irresponsibly. Her nails were overgrown and momma and puppies were covered with fleas. She is doing much better now that she is in foster care and has seen a vet. She is also happy that she will never have to endure having puppies ever again! Lucy Lou is such a sweet girl and any family would be lucky to be able to welcome her into their life. We can only imagine the things that she has been through in her life and how many litters that she has produced! We would love for her to find a furever home for the holidays!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy Lou, a Rochester Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
