Sarah's Story...
This is Sarah. Sarah is a 1-2 year old medium size Terrier/Pit Bull mix. She is such a happy and sweet girl. Sarah is so cute when she comes over to hang out with you, she gives you her belly for lots and lots of belly rubs. Look at that happy smile, she would love to have a nice warm bed to lay down in, can you be the one to help her? Sarah wandered into a backyard and they were unable to keep her, so they brought her here to give her a chance at finding a wonderful home, let’s not disappoint Sarah or them.

Act quickly to adopt Sarah. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarah, a Philadelphia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
