Cubbie's Story...
**Cubbie is a courtesy post and is not part of Operation Education. If you have any questions about him or are interested in making him part of your family, please contact Josh at jmhill1287@gmail.com**

Cubbie's mom had a soft spot for strays but recently passed away from cancer. Her family has been working hard to find good homes for the pets she left behind. Cubbie's adopted brother has already found a new home and now Cubbie has started escaping his fence. The family is desperate to find a new home for him before something bad happens due to his escaping. Cubbie was rescued when he was a puppy from the side of the interstate. He showed promise that he was going to be a fun-loving bear of a dog so he was named after a bear cub! Cubbie is now 8 years old and he is a big goofball who loves to play and get attention. He is a big boy weighing about 90lbs. He spends most of the time outdoors and is not housebroken. This big teddy bear is ready to find a loving home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cubbie, a Christiana Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Christiana, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Christiana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Christiana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Christiana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Christiana paves the way for another one to be saved.
