Princess (aka Pitty)'s Story...
Princess is a 3 year old Pit Bull tomboy! She does need to be spayed ($50 cash deposit, refundable after proof of neutering within 1 month). She's a very intelligent loving girl that was taken from her house after the next door neighbors reported to dog control last March that she and 2 other dogs were in the backyard.....2 weeks after the owners had moved out! The dogs were starved and dehydrated. Thank goodness the winter of 2012 was so mild. While the other 2 dogs had to have their suffering ended, Princess was a survivor! She's got the heart of a lion and the loyalty of a twin sibling. She loves to play and run and kiss!! Up to date on vaccines (distemper/parvo, bordatella, and rabies). Rehoming fee is $75 to cover care, food, and vaccines.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess (aka Pitty), a Wappingers Falls Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Wappingers Falls, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Wappingers Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wappingers Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wappingers Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wappingers Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
