Waffles's Story...
Hi my name is Waffles. I came to a high kill shelter with a broken leg. My Foster mom rescued me and took me to the vet. Unfortunately my leg was not able to be repaired. So now I have 3 legs. Its ok though I haven't been able to use the leg I broke for a long time so I am already used to only using 3 legs. I am about 1 yr old & I weigh 7.8 Lbs. Despite everything that has happened to me I am a very happy loving little boy. I love toys, other dogs unless they get to rough, I like kids & adults. I am ok with cats the only ones that I have been around were kittens who were used to dogs. My leg is healing well and I can go on transport Dec 28/29th. Please give me my forever home. Woof

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Waffles, a Scranton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Scranton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Scranton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scranton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scranton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scranton paves the way for another one to be saved.
